Medical massage is more than classic relaxation: it combines various therapeutic techniques to alleviate pain, relieve tension and bring the body into balance over the long term. Depending on the symptoms, I specifically use trigger point treatment, connective tissue massage, manual lymphatic drainage or functional grips. This results in individual, in-depth treatment, recognized by most supplementary insurance companies.

What is the difference between medical massage and a “normal” massage?
Medical massage is a therapeutic treatment with clear findings and a targeted treatment goal. It is used for specific problems of the musculoskeletal system or the lymphatic system.
The medical masseur combines various forms of therapy, such as classic massage, lymphatic drainage, foot reflexology or connective tissue techniques. The treatment has a mechanical, reflective and regulatory effect on muscles, nervous system and metabolism.
A classic massage, on the other hand, is mainly for relaxation and usually focuses on individual massage techniques.
